Dirty Laundry

A novel about memory, loyalty, and the complicated bonds that shape every family.

Every family carries stories.

Some are shared openly. Others remain folded quietly beneath the surface.

Dirty Laundry explores the emotional territory between memory and fiction in this story of an extended American Jewish family. The novel travels through generations and decades of family life, beginning with an explosive moment that reshapes the family dynamic.

At the center of the story stands Isaac, the powerful patriarch of the Feinstein family. His personality, ambition, and generosity shape the lives and loyalties of everyone around him.

Illuminated through family gatherings, arguments, travel, humor, and moments of tenderness, the story explores the complicated ways families remain bound together…and how they fall apart.

I enjoyed reading this warm narrative of a large Jewish family… it rings with a keen understanding of the importance of family ties.
